- Please register the TELL and CRISWELL name....from the way i understand it a great
ancestor of ours came from Germany and stayed with the CRISWELL family...his last name was
Tell...we are all decendants of him....my grandfathers name was Jack CRISWELl who married
Alberta SEITER..they 5 children all together Georgia (CRISWELL) SKIDMORE, Jeanette
(CRISWELL) HAWKINS, Dixie (CRISWELL) Strawser my father Dwight CRISWELL and my Uncle
Michael CRISWELL....my younger brother Benjamin Tell CRISWELL is the last of this line of
Tell CRISWELLS to carry on the name...I would like more information on this and since my
brother is the last one.

- Am looking for my wifes mothers older sister, Lucy (CLEVELAND) DUTTON. Lucy was born
Aug. 4, 1884 in Marion County (I think). Her parents and siblings all moved to Marion,
Michigan after her marriage to Verd (Nickname ?) Dutton. They had many children: Virginia,
Erma, Eva, Damon, donald, Arwilda, Fern, and Jane. Donald & his wife owned and
operated a travel trailer sales and supply business in Marion for many years. I'm looking
for any of these children, or their children.

- Looking for descendants of Noah LEE and John C. LEE. They settled in Scott Twp., Noah
married Sarah Ann REEDER and their children were Hiram, Elizabeth Ann who married Jacob
MARTIN, Amanda who married Solomon F. ROSENCRANS, and Cyrus P. who married Lucretia
HIPSHER. Cyrus and Lucretia's children were John C., George W., Hiram Francis, Hezekiah,
Ira Alfred and Hazel Zuree. Noah and John were sons of Zebulon Lee who fought in the
Revoulutionary War and moved to Hancock County. I am trying to get all his descendents
found. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

- Researching the John & Elizabeth SMITH family (both b. Baden, Germany). Located in
Prospect Twp. in 1850 with the following children: Elizabeth, 14, b. Germany; John, 12, b.
Germany; Catharine, 8, b. Ohio; William, 6; Christina, 2; and Melinda, 1. By 1870, their
children included Lewis, 15; Sophia, 13, and Henry, 9, b. Ohio. Henry SMITH married Eva
WHITEMAN (daughter of Francis Whiteman & Catharine COLEMAN) in 1882. Their daughter,
Hazel SMITH, married Ernest PALM and moved to Detroit after the birth of their two sons
Eldon & Richard.

- Researching Valentine COLEMAN (age 61) and family living in Marion County in 1850.
Listed are Eve (wife), b. PA; Catharine, 16, b. OH, Peggy, 12; Caroline, 10; Wilson S., 8;
Valentine, 22, and Elizabeth, 25. It is believed that the elder Valentine is the son of
Revolutionary War soldier Valentine Coleman and grandson of original immigrant, Valentine
Kohlmann. Daughter Catharine married Francis WHITEMAN; they are buried in Waldo Cemetery
(my husband's line). Wilson S. Coleman's Civil War pension papers state he was born in
Waldo, Ohio, in 1843, married Maria STRAUB at Waldo and died at Paragould, Arkansas,
leaving several children.

- I see in vol I 1824-1835 list the marrages of 6 COOKS, are they all related to Peter
COOK. If so who are they, who are the parents and any other information on the COOK
family.

- Searching for James KERR b. 1785 and his wife Jane ADAMS b. 1788. Their first child Mary
Elizabeth KERR, b. 1817 in Marion Co. Other children presumably born in Marion Co.
according to an old family Bible: Sarah J. KERR b. 1820, William James KERR b. 1822,
Agness Ann KERR b. 1825, Thomas Adams KERR b. 1828, John KERR b. 1810, Sally KERR, b.
1812, Thomas Boston KERR b. 1812, Margaret Isabella MORRISON KERR, b. 1817. Discrepancies
in the birth dates of the children indicate there were two wives - and I don't know
whether Jane ADAMS was 1st or 2nd. This ADAMS line is supposedly descended from John
Quincy ADAMS, pres. Any validation of or addition to the above information would be
appreciated.

Marion, Marion Co., OH. David BAUER and is wife Bertha ISLIEB, parents of Pauline R.
BAUER, b. July 30, 1901, Marion, Marion Co., OH. Pauline married DR. Hanson Bryan JOHNSON
in OH, need marriage date...they were married in 1928. Both were working at Bethesda
Hospital in Cincinnatti, OH when they met. I would love to find other members of this
family. Have family photo's I would be happy to share with them. Pauline and Hanson never
had children....I am their only neice on his side of the family. Pauline died Nov 23,
1962, Truth or Consequeces, NM. Hanson died Feb 8, 1993, Deming, NM.

sons: Lot BURt b. 1814, Joseph Burt b. 1818, Mark Burt b. 1822, Merrit BURT b. 1828,
Ebenezer BURT ab. 1830, George W. BURT b. 1832. Some stayed in Marion and Morrow County,
some migrated to Paulding County and thence to Iowa. I have information to share.

her parents were born in Ohio. They had a son named Nathaniel born in 1850 in Marion
county, Ohio. Their other children were: John L, Jonathan, James, Adeline, William A,
Sarah E, Clara, Jacob. These were born in Il. Any info on this family would be
appreciated.

Methodist/Episcopal minister 1851 in Marion County. Son John Robert born in Caledonia,
Ohio 1858. Later traveled to Missour by covered wagon. found in Nodaway County, Missouri
1880 census. Died in 1899. His parents were from Maryland. Hers from New Jersey.

- Seeking information for Geroge Washington BLACK, husband of Alma IMBODY BLACK. GW BLACK
was born in 1856 and died in 1922 in Marion. They owned a farm in Bowling Green Twp. and
he was possibly from the Richwood area. They had three children, Wilson Imbody BLACK, (my
grandfather), Ed BLACK who resided in New Bloomington and Hayzl MCELHENY.
