I would like to know who the parents of Paris GRAYBILL were. He is listed in the SSDI as living in Marion County, Ohio and I believe he may be the brother of my grandfather Henry Thurman GRAYBILL. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Parents of Maria CARR (KERR) She was married to Elija BENT and lived in Marion Co. in 1830s The 4 BENT children were Mathilda, Nahum, Hamilton Karr & Charles. They possibly lived with Lewis TOPLIFF in Montgomery after Elija died. Later Maria moved to IA with Hamilton.

I am looking for information on William THEW who settled in Claridon, Ohio in the 1820s. He did not have any children, but took in orphans and became know as "Uncle Billy." He built a wonderful house in 1840 and I believe the BROCKLESBY family inherited it. He was born in England in 1791 and died in Claridon in 1883.

I am researching DUDLEY. Found an old letter that stated "Moses DUDLEY who came into Ohio in the 1820-30 period and after whom Dudley Township in Hardin County was named. Moses had the following brothers: Rev David (d.1867), Daniel, Thomas, & Samuel. Rev David DUDLEY bought land in Marion County as early as 1824 and was pastor of the Free-Will Baptist Church of Big Island which he organized ." Will share with anyone my DUDLEY information.

I wish to make inquiry concerning the following surnames; MURPHY & SHOUP. I have only found these two surnames mentioned approximately twice each. I couldn't even find my dead grandfather's name. He died int hesixties. Guess he wasn't improtant enough. Yet Geroge MURPHY lived in Marion and raised 11 children there.

RODERICK: My ggrandfather Harvey Allen RODERICK died at his home in Marion, Ohio on October 22, 1908. He was married to Sally BURDGE in LaRue on June 23, 1898. Harvey is buried in LaRue Cemetary. Looking for Isaac S. KIMBER/KIMBLE born in NY about 1829/30, carpenter, from Marion County. Isaac married Catharine FREE in 1854. They were living in Pleasant Township in 1860 and Isaac's surname was written as KIMBLE in 1860 census. Children were Samuel born 1855, Sarah Elizabeth born 1857, John E. born 1859 and perhaps daughter Cora. Isaac married Olive (BELL) COOKES 1863. Children were Alice born 1863/4, Susan born 1865, Orren M. born 1869, Edna M. born 1870, William born 1872, Ida B. and Ada D. born 1875, and Isaac born 1877. 1870 census has family residing in Big Island and 1880 census in Green Camp Township. I couldn't find Isaac KIMBER in 1900 Ohio Soundex and I'm don't know if he died by this time or relocated out of Ohio.

Richard died 1877 in Marion county. They had 7 children, 5 daughters and 2 sons. Emily married Albert THOMASON, Sarah married William PATRICK,Margaret married Isaac C. KERN, Benjamin married Mary E.
